Supervision Reflection

LORD, you have probed me, you know me: you know when I sit and stand; you understand my thoughts from afar. You sift through my travels and my rest; with all my ways you are familiar. Even before a word is on my tongue, LORD, you know it all. 

Psalm 139:1-4

Reflect on your experience as a spiritual director through the Ignatian Examen. Include all areas of your ministry that you would like to discuss in Supervision. Submit your reflection at least 24 hours prior to our supervision session. Thank you.

Examen For Supervision

Pray for Light. I want to look at my ministry as a spiritual director through God’s eyes. I ask God to be with me during my reflection.

Gratitude. Look at your ministry of spiritual direction with gratitude. Say a prayer of thanksgiving for the call to accompany others in their spiritual journey.

Review: Ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit. Look back on your direction session (and your journaling exercise if completed). Pay attention to what was happening in you during your session. What grow in self-awareness and interior freedom in order to stay with the directees
